No. Our practical phlebotomy training is suitable for complete beginners as well as healthcare professionals looking to develop or refresh their skills. Any specific entry requirements will be clearly stated on the individual course page.

No. Practical training includes supervised hands-on learning in a simulated environment. If you’re looking for a bespoke live bloods training session, get in touch to discuss with our team and we’d be happy to assist.

Our training provides the theoretical knowledge and practical foundation needed to develop phlebotomy skills. However, completing a training course alone does not demonstrate ongoing workplace competency. Depending on your role or employer, further supervised practice and competency assessment may be required.

Yes. Learners who successfully complete the required elements of their course will receive a certificate of completion.

eLearning

Yes, the theoretical learning is completed online. However, eLearning does not replace hands-on practical training or demonstrate practical competency in venepuncture. We have a range of eLearning courses available, all tailored to phlebotomists needs.

A certificate is provided following successful completion of the relevant eLearning course requirements.

You'll receive information explaining how to access your online learning following enrolment. Typically you will be enrolled onto our eLearning platform and you will receive an email with instructions to login and reset your password.

Our eLearning is designed to offer flexible learning. Any specific access periods or completion requirements will be clearly stated when you enrol.
